This has always been one of my favorite dips and whenever visiting Mrs. L it was a requested item. It is so easy to make and everyone I have ever served it to just loves it.
Using items you can easily find at the grocery store, even those who are afraid to go in the kitchen can easily make this. So give it a try and let us know what you think. Enjoy!
Ingredients
  • 16 oz Sour Cream
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese
  • 1 pkg Good Seasons Italian Salad Dressing Mix
  • 1 can shrimp, drained
  • 1 bag of Bugles
Instructions
1.  Bring the cream cheese to room temperature so it is easier to mix
Cream Cheese to Room Temp
2.  Mix together the sour cream and cream cheese until there are almost no lumps
Daisy Sour Cream
Add Sour Cream to Cream Cheese
Thoroughly Mix the Sour Cream and the Cream Cheese
3.  Add the salad dressing packet and mix thoroughly
Kraft Italian Dressing
Sour Cream w Italian Seasoning
4.  Fold in the shrimp until evenly incorporated
Canned Shrimp
Canned Shrimp with Liquid
Canned Shrimp Drained
Add the Shrimp to the Sour Cream Mix
Shrimp Dip Fully Mixed
5.  Refrigerate for at least 2 hours and can be made the day before and left in the refrigerator overnight.
Summary
Serve with Bugles. Remember those? Those are the horn shaped crackers made from corn. Once you start, you can't stop! Enjoy!
Make It Mine
  • You can serve this with crackers such as Triscuits if you can't find Bugles.
